At the heart of Pianify’s mission is the belief that understanding music theory is crucial for a complete musical education. Too often, students focus solely on practical applications, which can result in an inability to read music sheets, comprehend rhythmic patterns, and recognise the structure behind these melodies they play. Pianify addresses this issue by prioritising music theory education, ensuring that students build a solid foundation that enhances their performance abilities and overall musicianship.
Pianify was created by a group of passionate music educators who believe that a well-rounded musical education is vital for students to truly appreciate and excel in their chosen instruments. At Pianify, all lessons will be conducted online. This is due to the change in the ABRSM Theory exam that has gone online.
Why Pianify?
Technological advantage
As the ABRSM Theory exam has permanently transitioned to an online platform, students must familiarise themselves with the digital system. Online lessons with Pianify offer students ample opportunities to practise using various online tools and platforms, enhancing their confidence and proficiency in taking online exams. Moreover, there is an option to record the lessons. This technological advantage gives Pianify's students a competitive edge in their examination endeavours and future musical pursuits.
Recording Options
Pianify also provides recording options that allow students to record their lessons for future reference. WIth this feature, students can revisit topics previously covered and review the feedback provided by their teachers, allowing them to retain information better.
Continuous Support
Pianify offers continuous support to its students through feedback in a group chat with students and parents to help them excel in their music theory examinations.
Guidance From Our Expert Teachers
All of the teachers in Pianify have more than 10 years of teaching experience and are highly qualified. Pianify's teachers are committed to providing an exceptional learning experience for their students. With their professional and high-quality instruction, they can help students grasp the complexities of music theory effectively.
Cost and Time-effectiveness
Online classes can be more cost and time-effective than traditional in-person lessons, as no transportation costs are involved. Students can also take advantage of lower-cost or even free resources available online.
Progress Tracking
Pianify enables students to track their progress regularly. Through consistent evaluations, quizzes, and assessments, students and teachers can identify areas for improvement and tailor their learning experiences accordingly. Upon finishing each topic, we will have quizzes to feedback to the parents. With that, we will know which topic that the student is weak at. All of these will be communicated via group chats.
